How long do I need to stay in Thailand?
It varies by procedure. Minor procedures may require 7-10 days, while major surgery such as cardiac or orthopaedic procedures typically requires 2-4 weeks for adequate recovery before flying home.
Do I need a referral from my doctor at home?
A referral is not required but is recommended. Having your medical records and any relevant imaging helps Thai surgeons assess your case more quickly and accurately.
Does Thailand Care charge patients for its service?
No. Partner hospitals pay us a coordination fee when they accept a patient we refer, so you never pay us anything. The price you see is the hospital's own price, with no markup.
