Jetanin Hospital
A fertility-only hospital in central Bangkok, founded in 1995, with its own embryo, sperm and genetics laboratories and both JCI and RTAC accreditation

Last reviewed 12 October 2026 · How we evaluate
Jetanin has treated infertility in Bangkok since 1995 and now calls itself Jetanin Hospital. Everything it does is built around assisted reproduction: IVF and ICSI, genetic testing of embryos, egg and sperm freezing, and sperm retrieval for men with no sperm in the semen. Its embryo, sperm and genetics laboratories are in-house, and it states that it was the first IVF centre in Southeast Asia to hold both JCI and the Australian RTAC fertility accreditation.

Our Assessment of Jetanin Hospital
Jetanin is a sensible option for couples who want IVF in Bangkok at a centre that does nothing but fertility. It has been running for more than 30 years, it lists eight reproductive medicine specialists by name, and it keeps its embryo, sperm and genetics laboratories in-house, so embryo testing does not have to be sent out. It states that it holds Joint Commission International accreditation, awarded in 2017, and RTAC accreditation from Australia and New Zealand's fertility society, awarded in 2018. RTAC is a fertility-specific standard, which is a useful extra check for an IVF unit.
The trade-offs are mainly about transparency and scale. Jetanin does not publish treatment prices or success rates on its website, so every cost comes as a quote after a consultation. Its English site is thin on practical detail for international patients, and we could not confirm the current JCI award dates in the JCI directory itself, so that rests on the hospital's own statements and 2025 press coverage. As a single-specialty hospital, it is not the place for patients with serious medical conditions who may need a general hospital's intensive care or other specialists on site.
It suits couples and individuals who want an established, accredited IVF centre close to central Bangkok's hotels and the BTS, particularly those who need genetic testing of embryos or male infertility treatment. Patients who want fixed published package prices, or whose fertility treatment is complicated by other health problems, should compare it with fertility centres inside large general hospitals.

Accreditations, Verified
Jetanin Hospital states that it holds Joint Commission International accreditation, first awarded in July 2017, and accreditation from the Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee (RTAC) of the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand, awarded in November 2018. We confirmed these through the hospital's own pages and dated press coverage from 2025. We were unable to retrieve a current listing from the JCI online directory, and we have listed only the accreditations we could confirm.
JCI Accredited
Joint Commission International. The hospital states that it has been accredited by JCI since July 2017, and Thai press coverage in July 2025 reported its JCI and RTAC accreditation. JCI is the leading global standard for hospital quality and patient safety. We were unable to independently retrieve a current listing from the JCI online directory, so the current award date rests on the hospital's own statements.
See the sourceRTAC Accredited
Reproductive Technology Accreditation Committee of the Fertility Society of Australia and New Zealand. The hospital states that it was accredited in November 2018 and that it was the first IVF centre in Southeast Asia to hold both RTAC and JCI accreditation. RTAC is a standard written specifically for fertility clinics. We were unable to find a public RTAC register entry, so this rests on the hospital's own statements.

What Jetanin Hospital Costs
Jetanin does not publish prices for IVF or any other treatment on its website. Costs are quoted after a consultation and depend on the protocol, medication doses, the number of embryos tested and how long embryos are stored. We place it in the mid range of Bangkok fertility centres as an editorial judgement, but we recommend asking for an itemised written quote that separates medication, laboratory, genetic testing and freezing fees before you commit.

About Jetanin Hospital
Jetanin was established in December 1995 by Pol.Gen.Dr. Jongjate Aojanepong, taking over from the earlier Yotse Clinic, and today presents itself as Jetanin Hospital. It sits at 5 Soi Chidlom, off Ploenchit Road in Bangkok's Pathumwan district. The site has grown in stages: the Jetapong A building opened in 2010, Jetapong B followed in 2015 with a new embryo laboratory and genetics laboratory, and the main Jetanin building was renovated in 2021. In 2025 the hospital marked its 30th anniversary, saying it has treated patients from more than 50 countries, and it was named IVF Centre of the Year in Asia-Pacific at the GlobalHealth Asia-Pacific Awards 2025.
The hospital's history includes several regional firsts that it reports itself. It says it was the first centre in Southeast Asia to help men without sperm in the semen father children using testicular sperm extraction with ICSI, in 1996, and that it opened a genetics laboratory for embryo screening in 1999. It also reports a live birth from eggs that had been frozen for ten years.
Treatment covers the full range of assisted reproduction: IVF and ICSI, IMSI and MACS sperm selection, intrauterine insemination, blastocyst culture, time-lapse embryo monitoring with an EmbryoScope, and freezing of eggs, sperm and embryos. The genetics laboratory carries out PGT-A, PGT-M and PGT-SR using next-generation and Sanger sequencing, and also offers carrier screening for conditions including alpha-thalassaemia, G6PD deficiency and spinal muscular atrophy. For men, the hospital offers semen analysis, sperm DNA fragmentation testing and surgical sperm retrieval.
All laboratory work is done by Jetanin's own staff, and the hospital says it uses a double-witness system, with two specialists checking each laboratory step. Its embryologists hold ESHRE certification, and its genetics laboratory takes part in external quality assessment schemes run by EMQN and GenQA. The operating room handles egg collection, embryo transfer, sperm retrieval, hysteroscopy and laparoscopy, and the hospital also lists normal and caesarean delivery among its operating and labour room services.

Common Questions About Jetanin Hospital
What patients typically want to know before choosing this hospital
How We Evaluated Jetanin Hospital
Our hospital profiles are independently researched by our editorial team. No hospital can pay to be listed here, ranked higher or reviewed favourably. For Jetanin Hospital we focused on its fertility services and verified only what the hospital publishes and what appears in dated, independent coverage. Here is what we assessed. Our checks are desk-based, verified against the issuing bodies' registers and the hospital's own published materials rather than a hospital-arranged visit. Read the full methodology.
We confirmed each accreditation directly with the issuing bodies and against published records, rather than relying on marketing claims, so the badges you see are real.
We checked the qualifications of the clinicians who would treat you and the depth of the specialist teams, technology and inpatient support standing behind them.
We assessed whether there is a genuine international patient service — multilingual staff, visa help and structured coordination — rather than just a translated website.
We looked for documented care plans, follow-up scheduling and clear channels, so you can still reach your care team once you have flown home.
We evaluated whether estimates are itemised and given in writing upfront, covering treatment, stay and follow-up, rather than arriving as one opaque figure.
We reviewed patient reports across multiple independent sources, looking for consistent themes in satisfaction, complaints and treatment outcomes.
How we make money
Hospitals cannot pay for placement, ranking or a favourable review anywhere on this site. We earn a coordination fee from the hospital only when you choose to book through us, and it never changes your price. That conflict is why we publish our evaluation criteria and sources on every profile, and link accreditations to the issuing bodies.
If you believe any information on this profile is inaccurate or outdated, please contact our editorial team and we will check it against the source.
