An honest, independent way to compare hospitals abroad

Nick Peplow is the Founder and Lead Coordinator of Thailand Care, an independent medical travel coordination service based in Bangkok. He has lived and worked in Thailand for over a decade and founded Thailand Care to give international patients an honest, independent way to compare accredited hospitals for surgery, diagnostics, and specialist treatment.

Nick built the company's hospital vetting process, which requires JCI accreditation, Thai Ministry of Public Health licensing, board-certified specialists, and an in-person facility visit before any hospital is added to the network. That network includes Bumrungrad International, MedPark Hospital and Samitivej Sukhumvit. His model is free to patients. Hospitals pay a coordination fee only when a patient books, and Thailand Care adds no markup to the hospital's own price.

He is available to speak with the media on medical tourism trends, how patients should evaluate hospitals abroad, hospital pricing transparency, and international accreditation standards. Nick is not a physician, and clinical questions are directed to the treating specialist.

Every partner hospital holds Joint Commission International accreditation, the standard used to assess leading hospitals in the US and Europe.

Thai MoPH Licensed

Each facility is licensed and audited by Thailand's Ministry of Public Health.

Board-Certified Specialists

Treatment is carried out by specialists certified by the relevant Thai medical board, many with fellowship training abroad.
